의문사

1. Be 동사 + 주어

 

   문장 어순을 바꾸어 Be + S 형태로 만들어준다. 

  

I  am	Am  I  ?
He  is  She  is  It  is	Is  he ?  Is  she ? Is  it ?
We  are  You  are They  are	Are  we ? Are  you ? Are  they ?

 

  * 예문 

   - Am I late? 

   - Is your mother home? 

   - Are you a doctor ?

   - Is it cold in your room?

  - Are they happy?

 

 

 

2. 의문사 + be 동사 + 주어

 

  위에  만든 형태 앞에

  Where, What, Who, Why, How 등의 의문사를 붙여줄 수 있다. 

 

 

  * 예문

  - Where is your mother? 

  - Where are you from?

  - What color is your car?

  - How are your friends? 

  - How much is this? 

 

   ( 단, 'How much' 는

   이 자체로 뜻을 가진 의미 단위이기 때문에 

    How is much this 로 쓰지 않는다.)

 

 

3. 대답하기

  질문에 의문사가 없다면, Yes / No  의 형태로 대답하며

  다시 주어 + Be 동사/ 동사 어순으로 말 합니다. 

 

  그러나 만약 질문에 의문사가 있다면,

  좀 더 구체적으로 설명해야 합니다. 

 

 

* 예문

   - Am I late?    No, you're on time. 

   - Is your mother home?   Yes, she is. 

   - Are you a doctor ?  No, I'm a student.

   - Is it cold in your room?  Yes, a little.

  - Are they happy?   Sure.

 

  - Where is your mother?    My mom is in bed. 

  - Where are you from?     I am from Canada.

  - What color is your car?    It's red.

  - How are your friends?   They are nice. so kind.

  - How much is this?     This is 30000 won.
